Hatomim Aryeh Leib Misinzov, a Bochur who in the past has studied in the Lubavitcher Yeshiva in Kiev, was brutally murdered by a group of Neo-Nazis. This past Friday, Shliach to Kiev, Rabbi Yakov Zilberman received a call from the local police to come identify the mutilated body. “It was a horrific scene” he told Chabad Info.

The officer told Rabbi Zilberman that the Bochur was kidnapped on april 20th, the birthday of Hitler YM”SH, and held in captivity until his murder. 

The gang leader was subsequently apprehended by police and is currently undergoing questioning.

Chief Rabbi of Ukraine, Rabbi Moshe Reuven Asman, who was in Israel at the time of the murder, had to cut his trip short to return to Kiev to help with the release of the body so that it may be brought to Kevura.
