770 Greets New Sefer Torah
At the hieght of Gimmel Tammuz, an Hachnosas Sefer Torah was held in 770. The new Torah, a donation of Rabbi Naftali Astulin, Shliach of the Rebbe Melech Hamoshiach in L.A. was written in honor of the eightieth anniversary of the the Rebbe's marriage to Rebbetzin Chaya Mushkah A"H.

Following Mincha, the unfinished Sefer was placed on the Bima and many distinguished Rabbonim entered the final letters in the Torah. After the Siyum, the tradaitional Hakafos were held in 770, with joyous dancing that lasted over two hours, after which the new Torah was placed in the main Aron Kodesh.

thousands of people came to CH for gimmle tammuz on top of the thousands that already live in CH, why was 770 so empty? where was everyone? looks like 100 hundred people max!! people need to have more respect for the rebbe his shul and his torah!! i hope next time more people will show up
